Football Managers Hated By The Fans

There have been several football managers that have been hated by the fans whilst in charge of their club.

For instance Alan Pardew was hounded of the club by the Newcastle fans. For some obscure reasons he got dogs abuse and I never understood what he'd done to deserve such treatment. If my memory serves me correct he got Newcastle into 5th place in his first season. Perhaps this is a case of guilty by association? Pardew being from London was probably tarred with the same brush as Mike Ashley !

Benites is another one on that list. He was greeted with boos and banners around SB telling him to leave the club. Whilst in charge of Liverpool, he was guilty of mocking Chelsea fans for waiving plastic flags in order to create atmosphere at SB. He stated on one of his interviews that "Our fans don't need plastic flags". In this instance, you can fully understand the fans reactions and why he wasn't welcomed at the Bridge. He went on to win the Europa league with Chelsea. But the fans have never forgiven him for making such remarks, displaying banners "Chelsea fans do not forget"
