So the stars have aligned against us and our doom will be sealed tonight at Dens Park. This is what it has come to - 9 long months of mediocrity and embarrassment yet the Gods have kept one final humiliation for the last - a failure to win tonight at the home of our greatest and closest rivals condemns us to the Championship.
The short walk across the road will feel like a long one tonight, but into the lions den we must walk and bare the taunts of those we have long taunted. For the Dees it is, without doubt, the biggest game in most of their lives. They've had a lot of massive games down the years, games where their happiness has depended on the result - the majority of which have involved United.
Against my better judgement I'll be there tonight, standing not in hope, but in defiance. That's all you can really do in these situations. I'll remind myself that them relegating us will never take away the three major trophies we've won on their ground, particularly that special moment when I was just a toddler when United won the league at Dens.

I did something similar at Clyde (I think it was a cup game) when slating Sinclair.
Only his old man in from off us and laid into us at half time.
I felt awful.
