So reports state that the PA blasted out for an hour after the final whistle to drown out the 100-200 fans who remained after the home win.
It was a quiet game and the banners didn't come out during the game, surely a time they would get maximum exposure. Maybe silence was the best tool?
You protest too much!

Had a few friends at the game. They dot get to catch Everton very often so were not involved in protests. Can't see the manager being around for next season.

Everyone knows that, so why protest?
The plane was a joke!

What's your problem with Everton fans protesting?

Not said I have a problem have I Mr R?
Just surprised it was a sit in after the game and not while cameras were rolling.
Were they afraid of the reaction from home fans, stewards taking banners......or was it for show, knowing he is gone come June?

The reason I ask if you have a problem as you always seem to criticise fans when the do something.
I think part of the reason it was done at the end of the game was because obviously at the start of the game there was the tribute to Hillsborough, also if it was done during the game then fans like you would have complained that they should be getting behind the team. Also Everton have form for taking banners off fans when it doesn't suit their agenda.

Having banners taken away would have been great negative publicity for the Bobby out movement. It was a surprise they managed to get them in as 99% of bags/big coats are checked
HT would have been great as the plane flew over. They have every right to protest, but to do it at a strange time.

Kenwright out banners were taken off fans in the past at the turnstiles. As not to upset our (not so) great chairman. Plus it's got plenty of coverage. Was on match of the day and in the echo plus plastered all over social media.
