Of Finishing Below Arsenal once again?
Spurs, will likely play a good Southampton side and a relegation battling Newcastle at St James' Park without Dembele and Alli and maybe an injured Alderweireld.
Whilst Arsenal will play the likely less motivated City and Aston Villa for the last two games.
With three points between the two, how big a blow would it be for them to finish below Arsenal.
Are Spurs in Danger...

Sandy
I can't see Arsenal winning at the Etihad.
Like you I'm worried about Southampton who were excellent last weekend, and with Dembele probably banned and possible injuries to Alderweireld and Rose we will have to play a makeshift side.
Still think we will have enough to guarantee 2nd though.

Fuzzy allí is totally right there.
I think Real Madrid will be too strong for City and there champions league run will end.
They will then see the Arsenal game as massive. They would want to guarantee top three and finish strongly.
Even if Arsenal win we will still only need one win from our last two to get 2nd because of our superior goal diff.

But with such a depleted squad, is 3 points from the last two even a given? Southampton and Newcastle are not walkovers

Frankly I don`t see a win at the moment, the team will be devastated over tonight, and there may be a few players missing, and we all know how understrength teams perform. They have had two massive chances of picking up maximum points the past seven days, and blown each chance. Very disappointing really.

We are guaranteed at least 3rd place & if City beat Arsenal then 2nd is guaranteed. If we beat Southampton then 2nd is also guaranteed.
Or two draws would be enough to get 2nd if Arsenal draw either of their last two games.

Arsenal will not draw against Aston Villa.
It all rests on Man City beating Arsenal, and the way City are at the moment I just don't bet on it

Genius
I still think Spurs have it in them to blow this. They had a great chance to win the league, and blew that against WBA, they had a great chance to win at SB for the first time since 1990, and blew that, and they have a great chance to finish above Arsenal, and yet something tells me they aint going to now. We have seen it all before, where Arsenal just sneak in front on the last match.

Spurs have dropped 4 points in their last two matches from leads at half-time.
2-0 today ...... no excuse to give up two goals second half.
So it is quite possible that Arsenal will nick second spot. Deli Alli is banned and Dier could well get banned by retrospect FA action based on game video.
So, its fingers crossed time.

Lamela and Dembele are getting bans, not Dier
