Delighted for him. 2 questions:
Who was the last Bolton player to score for England?
Who was the last defender to score on their full England debut?

Chuffed to bits for him and he's still a Wanderer.
Great to see him play so well alongside John Terry whom he can learn so much off at that level.
Terry & Cahill have to be the fist CB names on the teamsheet now or Capello is a tard.

I think Ledley King did

Lets hope this is the start of Cahill being a regular starter with an eye on him forging a regular central defensive partership.
I hope this is the end of the line for the so called untouchable players. It would be a shame if it wasn't.

Good performance all round by Gary and England IMO especially in the first half. Thought we looked comfy and solid throughout and that the midfield di just fine without Lampard or Gerrard.
Wales did well and I'd like to congratulate them too especially as they did us a big favour. Of course Gary 'God' Speed is their manager and could motivate anybody so there's a solid link to us there too ( I know, straw, grasp etc) but with luck he'll tell the Welsh strikers to be nice to Gary next week even if they're 'horrible' to everyone else.
