This is LVG last chance to show he can do it when it matters. Win last 3 games and we achieve the goals. He can't moan about anything now. We beaten Man City to get to this position. I always thought that Rashford goal will come in handy to put us in a possible position to have it in our hands. Now we got it in our hands for first time in many months we can't let go.
Considering it is Man City our noisy neighbours, the motivation should be even higher. Pellegrini could have dispatched us last 2 games but they only took 1 point instead.
Thank you Arsenal for giving us one last hope. I thought that Leicester City game may have been the final nail in the coffin.
LVG knows he has to win last 3 games to save his job. Time he delivered but who knows Man City might lose or draw last game as well so it could be 2 points or 3 points required. Oh and Pellegrini 1 win against 7 of the top 8 sides. Amazing really with the talent they have.

Looks like the City fans are voting with their feet. The City players are due to come out to show their appreciation and Manuel Pellegrini will be out to say goodbye, but the stands have emptied fast.
"Yeah, whatever, bring on next season."
Thank you Arsenal and LVG last chance given

They only need a draw after your defeat to West Ham.

STM I thought we had bottled it and handed it to Man City easily after we drew to Leicester City but since then Man City dropped the 5 points we required them to drop in next 2 games. Amazing really to be in our own hands but then again I thought that point against Leicester City could put us in a position like this. I even predicted Southampton to beat Man City and Arsenal to draw against Man City.

We haven't got our own back on Man City since this game properly. Winning 0-1 at their place and that 0-1 win being the difference would be great like their 1-0 win against us in 2012.

What do you say(predict)about your games against West Ham and Bournemouth?

As long as we win both happy days. To be honest if we can't win the last 3 games of the season with whats at stake we are never going to do it under LVG. Its apparently been over a year since we last won back to back away matches. I think that was against Newcastle United and Liverpool

so you thought that united had handed it to city easily, but then also predicted that city would take 1 point from their next 2 games?
at least try to be consistent with your bullsh.!.t, you can't even get your story straight.

I was being optimistic with my predictions. You can see my predictions on prediction thread. Anyway after Leicester City draw I thought maybe thats it gone unless Southampton beat Man City and give us glimmer of hope again and Arsenal get the draw. Both happened.

I can't believe Man City with what was at stake playing like they got nothing to play for at Southampton.

well City have certainly blown it big time, pretty shocking really. you suspect they can afford to finish 5th more than United, they already have a big new manager coming in, who will presumably be given a fair chunk of change to play with.
but for united tuesday is huge, 2 years in 3 out of the CL could be a big problem for the club.
