Score predictions for tonight???

Based on the presumption that Martial is fit to play and starts....

I think it will be a tough game and Carroll will be too much for us in the air and we lose 2-1.

Hope I'm wrong! Your thoughts?

Correct scores will be acknowledged at FT

1-1

Then on Sunday:

Swansea 2 City 2

United 2 Bournemouth 1.

Fellaini was to us beating west ham last time and how he nullified Carroll almost every time.

..............

Fellaini should not be nullifying Carroll. One of the CB's should.

The occasion will prove too much for West Ham and we'll run out comfortable winners.

Hammers 0-3 United

Chris "like a cuddle" Smalling or Daily Blind?

.............

Smalling.

You don't have a midfield player trying to nullify an opposing teams striker, except on set pieces may be.

Dink, you're a good poster but you really don't understand how key Fellaini was to us beating west ham last time and how he nullified Carroll almost every time.

I think this is a myth you have invented Robb.

Fellaini was good against West Ham, but it wasn't due to his aerial presence.

The reason Carroll was quiet was because we dominated the game and completely cut off his supply (which Fellaini was key to)

In the cup games that is what Felliani did on the set pieces. Don't recall him man marking Carroll in open play

.............

Then that is fine.

I guess we can put Mata on him tonight. Fellaini not playing, of course, should cut down on the amount of set pieces they get.

Weak line-up, martial, rashford and especially herrera will always struggle on this type of occassion.

no idea about score, a loss is a likely result
