Disgrace

I think the way MC(the dictator) is treating Evans is disgusting -leaving the manager lost in a loophole not knowing where he stands. Evans has tried his best with a lot of no-gooders(including the crazy owner), the players we have are a joke and a half except for Cook and maybe a few others. Evans is a true British(Scottish) coach, MC needs to learn he can't keep chopping and changing season in season out - we are going round in circles and going nowhere...Evans is settling down and needs time and quality players and I know he has potential and needs a 2nd chance (everyone needs a 2nd chance in life) but Mr Massimo Cellino thinks otherwise, he's too impulsive and trigger happy

If Evans is given a new contract I know he will prove that he's the right man for the job. It makes me want to throw up that Sheridan (with all due respects to him) could be our new boss - what will this achieve, it will be a vicious circle again.

Please Cellino, give Steve Evans a chance and if by Xmas next season we are still not challenging for promotion, then sack him, that's my final word.

Isn't this the same John Sheridan that Howard Wilkinson oiked out after he was drunk and disorderly in Briggate early one morning...?

Surely that'd be a qualification in Massimo Cellino's eyes...??

What annoys me most is that we are wasting precious time planning for next season, utter incompetence.

agree Aza, just seems to be no urgency at all.

You are missing the point, Ellando. Evans signed a contract to the end of June this year. This includes his salary to that point in time and any other condtions agreed between him and Celino. He could just as easily have signed it to the last day of season, but he didn't.
Now he's trying to force Cellino's hand, hi-jacking the emotions of many of our fans such as Harrogate above. Evans knows exactly where he stands. He is our manager until June. That's what he agreed to. Instead of playing the bleeding heart and undoing a lot of the good work he did earlier in the campaign, he should get on with the job of managing the team. There is still plenty to do, even if he is not going to be the manager next season.
It is difficult to admit it, but Cellino is in the right about this one.

Never heard as much rubbish in my life

Nearly All deals including players and managers are till June end of June

Managing the team, they have all gone on holiday

So what is the manager supposed to be doing !!!!

Planning for next season ???

And explain how Evans knows where he stands, he doesn't know if he will be in a job next season

Good Evans is right, like I said before, sounding like Redfern/Warnock, trying to get sympathy vote and Cellino has already told him before that he's talking too much in public about his contract.

Not saying that Cellino is handling it correctly, but Evans should just do what the contract says but be looking for job elsewhere as he knows he's not being retained.

Totally agree with AZA.

Evans should have already been given a contract or the new bod lined up and Evans told you're on your way so the new bod can start thinking of next season at the very least. We should be starting now, not waiting to some time in June.

Re Evans, if he thinks he's on his way I can't see any problem with him looking for another club whilst maintaining his obligations to Leeds all the time he is contracted. We've all sought alternative work I imagine whilst in employment, why should he be any different. I agree with Jonty on this.
