Further to HRH's article below on potential relegation transfer raids, was thinking who Leicester and Spurs could target more generally from non-UCL outfits, seeing as both clubs will be gracing the competition next season:
Manchester United
Martial - looks handy, lots of potential. Poch or Ranieri could turn him into a 25-30 goal a season striker and offers good cover for Kane / Vardy. £40-50m should do the trick.
DDG - Spurs have Lloris and DDG wouldnt want to sit on the bench, but he could be a slight upgrade on Schmeichel. £30-40m
Shaw - Injured all season, but an attacking left back with bags of potential, he could complete with Rose for the LB berth at Spurs. Possible offer of £20m + Davies.
Liverpool
Firmino - has proven his worth after a slow start. Lots of goals, trickery and enthusiasm and would fit into either Spurs or Leicester's setup well. Would fancy the step up to Champions League after a career outside of the elite competition. £35m.
Coutinho - see above.
Origi - Klopp's done a good job with Origi, seems a level headed lad and very enthusiastic to succeed in the game. Might be best for his career to spend another season at Liverpool, gain experience, score some goals, before Spurs / Leicester bid £30m in the Summer of 17/18.
Please feel free to add any more transfer targets.

Nice to see a good old fashioned wum!

It really is, it beats the normal sweary, "your mum", "you're gay" nonsense that normally passes for 'banter' on here.

Chris Smalling, we could do with a youngish experienced centre back as back up at Leicester.

Exactly, standards have slipped somewhat over the years. The subtle wum was an art form.

Balotelli and Ranieri would be a match made in heaven. Mahrez and £20m would probably be enough to make it happen

I dont see why we should be paying that kind of money to take away Pool and United`s deadwood, let them find some other mugs to get them off their wage bills.
Pool will also be in the CL, there is no way Sevilla are winning 3 Europa League`s in a row, and Pool will no doubt also have the referee influencing things in their favour, so the Mousers will win the Europa.

Would definitely take Willian, Coutinho and Rashford. Could do with some strength in depth on the bench. Might also try a cheeky bid for de Gea as we need a good back-up keeper.

Oscar would be a great signing for lester or totts. They should totally take him.
