Blessing in Disguise

First off some of you are behaving like a bunch of crybaby caaaants.

cast your mind back to the beginning of the season, no one of predicted a title race for us, our most ambitious predictions were maybe we could scrape 4th place, well we have guaranteed ourselves a group place in the champions league.

we didn't "bottle" anything this season, we have run more than almost every team and thats bound to take its toll when we have limited squad. but these last 4 games could be blessing in disguise, it might make the board realise that outside of our core 13-14 players we are very average and need 3 or 4 big additions.

remember this is a very young team and it will only make us hungrier next year, its all a bit silly having a meltdown saying stupid sh*t like its the worst performance in 60 years etc. it was a meaningless game competitively. once the title was lost and champions league was sealed, it was job done.

we are not average either, (first 11) we are the youngest side in the league and we finished 3rd. in what world is that average.

we are not overrated. in fact all season we have been underrated, its only since we started losing games that all of a sudden we ought to be beating everyone we play.

let arsenal fans celebrate all they want, like Poch says, we should focus only on ourselves.

COYS!!

I posted a couple of weeks back that Spurs did NOT bottle the title and I stand by that, after a relatively poor start they were playing catch up.

But sorry, undoubtedly Spurs DID bottle second place, no argument.

Sorry mate, but you can dress it up how you like, that was a truly shocking, gutless performance, and I am not going to say otherwise. Getting beaten by any team 5-1 is horrible enough, but to get beaten by a relegated team down to 10 men, and concede three goals against them when Spurs had 11 and they had 10 is the stuff of nightmares, and I cannot think of any other team that has ever let in three goals against 10 men, other than when Spurs conceded four goals against Man City and their 10 men about 20 years ago.

Yes Spurs have qualified for the CL, but FFS do you seriously think any other team would have fecked up those last four games like Spurs have. Not a chance in hell. It is called having bottle and a winning mentality, and Spurs have not really had that for about 30 years now. They just seem to accept things.

Probably by tomorrow, they will all be saying ah we will learn from this, but they never fecking do.
