If this bottling job Spurs team and this Arsenal team we rolled over twice this season can finish 2nd and 3rd then we can definitely finish in the top 4.

Based on current trends, Chelsea are predicted to finish 19th next season.<span class="smiley smiley-ok" abp="295"></span>
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Based on complete interpretation of Liverpools premier league history, next year could well be their year but probably not.

2 seasons. 1st, then 10th.

I feel the same about Leicester and the 1 season not being a trend, though what an achievement. I do not think the cash argument is redundant either because of one season. Leicester are being compared with Forest in 78 and Ipswich in 62, hardly a multitude of clubs.

But the fall from one position to the next is one season jesus

Do you know what "trend" means? It doesn't matter the time frame. Here, I'll help you.
trend:
intransitive verb |\ˈtrend\
to extend in a general direction : follow a general course <mountain ranges trending north and south>
b : to veer in a new direction : bend <a coastline that trends westward>

so you miss out the actual context of the word trend you used which is:
1.)a general direction in which something is developing or changing.
There is nothing general about the direction the club went. A one off movement is not a trend.
some people just type and dont think, even for weak wums its bad

You can't say it's a one off movement. You have no idea where Chelsea will finish next season. Currently, ther trend is down. Keep up. It's a very simple concept to grasp, even for you.

Very true, but it should always give others hope plus we know that the teams that spend the most do not always win it, even if they are amongst the richest.
