Glad that he is out of the running, but it opens the door for Rodgers who turned down a return to Swansea

FFS Arouna.
You cannot accuse Rafa of relegating Newcastle. They were as good as relegated before he took over as they were one of 3 teams fighting for the 1 place above the relegation zone.
Newcastle were unbeaten in their last 6 games, winning 3 and drawing 3 (12 points).
In his 10 games, he had 4 of the top 5 finishers in the league and 3 x 6 pointers.

Martinez didn't have the best of records prior to the Everton job. Granted he won the FA Cup but he also got wigan relegated. Rafa has impressive cv.

In the past....yes, but the last two jobs?
Hmmmm. Glad he is looking to stay at Newcastle personally.

Sam Allardyce would be a good choice. He's never been relegated.

No West Ham managers here.
Tell us all about relegation and places like Huddersfield

If you don't want managers that have experienced relegation then that rules out Alex Ferguson coming out of retirement then.
