As I specifically complained about the Board's failure to make a commitment on these lines I must now acknowledge what they have now done.
There remains a trace of cynicism in me though as we have heard warm words periodically before, often not as soon as they were needed, which have not always converted to deeds.
This may not be the last chance to turn things round, but the need to halt the slide is urgent. We cannot afford to languish.
