Does anyone think this injury could be a blessing in disguise?
its no coincidence Defoes form has been poor since the arrival of rafa and the change of system, so I reall hope 'arry opts for 442 with Ade and Defoe up top ... would be no suprise if we saw JD banging them in again.
Saying that having a midfield of:
Sandro
Modric Parker
With just Ade up top could also be interesting.
What are peoples thoughts?
VDV Injury blessing in disguise?

lennon sandro and vdv's injuries mean that a midfield and forward line of below will probably be played.
modric huddlestone parker bale
defoe adebayor
although ideally a lot of spurs fans want gio in the team deployed in some kind of 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 i honestly dont see harry putting much faith in the kid

I think it could be a blessing in disguise, yes.
Without the pressure to play him Harry will be able to/have to try other combinations. I'd also like to think that he'd try other formations than 4-4-2. We have the personnel, but does Harry have the nous? (I really don't think so myself, but am desperate to be proven wrong this season by Harry.)
