It's okay...

Great first 2/3 of a season from Klopp. Excited for next season. Shame we got hammered tonight but we'll be back. Cheers reds!

Is that 5 finals in a row that Klopp has lost?

Unless you count the German Super Cup.

Really disappointed. Hopefully Klopp gets a couple players in to fix weaker areas of our squad.

All in all though, its been a fun ride under Jurgen and Im looking forward to next season

Just didn't feel right tonight

Yes 5 finals lost but at least every season he is getting to a cup final. Nobody will be hurting more then Klopp you could see it in his eyes. Also you can see how much this meant to Emre Can. He is a future captain.

Future looks a lot brighter for us than it did 8 months ago.

A game too far tonight.

Next season with only 50 games to play even if we compete in both domestic cups to the end, we should be able to challenge very strongly.

It's not been a fantastic season really but I just need to remember that it's a freebie for Klopp.

Just the mental strength in that team is non existent!!!

That's what's most gutting to watch.

Such an enormous chance for a great season and we totally blew it.

We were on top of this game in the first half and should have had at least two penalties and should have been two or three goals up, but the early goal in the 2nd half gave them a boost and then we lost our concentration. Moreno helped them with the first goal and he probably was thinking he was still playing for them. He was poor. Milner was even worse.

The ref also gave them the 3rd goal after the linesman flag was up for offside. We have played three times under the same referee and lost them all.

Now all the hard work and plan of the team concentrating on this competition and fielding weakened teams in the league gone for nothing. We are now out of Europe. Southampton put all of their efforts in the league in the last couple of months and they were successful.

Never mind. We are Liverpool and will come back stronger. We just need to have better midfielders than Milner and Henderson and better defence.

Also I think the main factors we lost was the experience of Sevilla in Europe. We were ahead and on top but couldn't keep it. Once they were ahead they experience was shown.

We played (very) badly for 45 minutes.
Where's my noose?

Get a grip ffs! We got to two finals, saw some fantastic football (at times) and all this in Klopp's first season without a single player of his own.
That's a new manager, new coaches, new tactics to adjust to.

I'm disappointed not to have any European football next season, but even that may be a blessing in disguise - we played 63 games or something this season, so not too much time training.

Interesting though that only 3 of the players who started the EL final for them 2 years ago were in tonight's starting XI. Two of them didn't even play the same position as tonight.
