Good to hear he is on the mend, he always comes across as a top bloke and was a great player for Spurs.
49 is rather young for a former footballer (who still appears in good physical condition) to be having a heart bypass though, even for a smoker, must be something genetic maybe.
Though I suppose a 20 - 40 cigs a day habit could contribute to this condition, I`ve no idea how many ciggies Ginola smokes per day.

It could be genetic, I have seen skinny people suffer from cardiac arrest, but cause they eat less doesn't mean they eat healthy.
He probably eats less than Alan Brazil but not a balanced diet.

They were lesions around the heart and could be hereditary I read. I wish I hadn't as it says it's 'common' for over 60's...🙁
Let's hope he pulls through.
