The Euro 96 game against Scotland is available on BBC Football and red button.
Cracking game, brings back memories of one of the best summers ever. To top it off a certain someone scored that goal on my birthday.
Anyone watching?

The first touranment game I remember watching (aged 7). Still vividly remember watching Gazza score that goal. The sort of thing where you always remember where you were when it happened.

It was wasn't it. It was my 18th and I was in the pub getting leathered. When he scored beer went all over the floor the ceiling the windows, everywhere.
Always love Gazza for that.

Fookin hell I forgot Gary Neville played in that match. How old was he back then?

Brave tactics by England. Only one real CB, Tony Adams. With both FB's playing narrow when needed or Southgate dropping back into CB from CM also. Quite Dutch-like.

As a Rangers fan I have to say Gazza was immense that season and that goal topped it off
After he scored he started running towards goram, who was his clubmate at the time, to wind him up
He then realized goram would probably flatten him and kept running to behind the goal and done the dentists chair thing, totally unplanned
Phenomenal player at the time

Class Gazza goal cheered by me in mainly Scots supporting pub.
Mon norn iron.

21, Motty mentioned it quite early on in the commentary. Think we all feel old watching this.

Venables was a class England manager. The FA were a bunch of pompous knobheads the way they treated him.
Can't believe Neville was 21. It doesn't feel that long ago that he retired from playing.
Yeah it has been a bit crap so far. It'll get better though
