Understand that Arsenal have triggered the release clause in Jamie Vardy's contract. Leicester still determined to keep hold of him.

Thoughts? Think his release clause is about £25m from what I've read in the papers.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Vardy's agent has been hawking him around at 120k a week for CL clubs as release clause can only be met by those in CL.
Arsenal appear to be only ones to have gone for it.
He wants a 4 year deal at that wage.
Don't blame him really.
One last huge pay day to finish a career most of which was spent outside the top 2 divisions let alone the top 1

Arsenal should have bought Higuain two years ago, he is world class, Vardy isn't.

Don't know why people aren't happy about this. Vardy scored 23 league goals and won the title. He'd do a good job for us with Ozil laying everything on a plate for him. Who else can we realistically get that's been in good goal scoring form? £25 million is good. Ian Wright was at his peak aged 27-33. So Vardy can do a good job for at least 3 years so can everyone stop moaning about the fact we are looking to strengthen a position everyone has moaned about for years!

this for real or a joke. Also whats the deal atm with us & meeting release clauses, there was Xhaka, maybe Rodriguez from Wolfsburg & now Vardy. Are we just targeting areas in squad that need improvement but looking at players with release clauses.

The Godfather are you suggesting I'm proof of being a terrible Arsenal fan or the other people opposed to the idea of us signing Vardy?
