If it happens that is
I have to be honest, I didn't see this one coming. Vardy doesn't strike me as a wenger player at all. He seems suited to direct counter attacking football and Arsenal play a progressive passing game. Unless he is coming to be a super sub or play as a wing forward?
There is no doubt that he is a dangerous striker, but I have to say that if this is arsenals main summer striker signing then I am happy with that.
Every summer I fear they are going to go and sign world class attackers, benzema , aubemeyang, reus, Suarez etc... And they always end up with a level below that , if not two levels below.
If this is the level of business for Arsenal then I suspect it will be same again for Arsenal. Definately top 4 and fall short when it really counts in the league and champions league.
Thoughts ?
Admin please multi board including Lesta.

So what do we make of Vardy to Arsenal?

I think it's highly likely he'll be injured a lot, he only stayed fit because of our sports science and training methods which Arsenal don't have. The way he plays he'll pick up injuries if not looked after properly. And yes I will wish him injuries, the judas!

are you being serious?
he just fired you to the title....
why is he being a judas?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because he's a liar and I have no time for liars. He literally said a the end of the season that there is no way he'd leave because we gave him a chance and he wouldn't let us down. No time for people like that I'm afraid.,

he said that before someone waved a 4 year contract at 120k a week infront his face
but I agree he shouldn't have said it.

Let the Goonz get on with it, there are far better players out there for far less money.

Really? Who?
In terms of CFs, you won't get anyone as good or high profile as Vardy for £22m or less and on £100-120K pw.

Agreed.
Know his 29 but not bad for the price considering we fooked up by not keeping Kane on the books so good business!

Good player, comes across as a arrogant prat though. At his peak. Don't believe he'll ever replicate this years return. So not too worried. 22m isn't bad. He will be Welbeck Mark 2 though. Filling in various voids. Never really owning a position in the first 11.
