Martin Jol is having a clearout at Fulham and 32 year old Jonathon Greening is available and Billy seems interested. Maybe he is the replacement for McKenna that we desperately need. Norris at Ipswich is a little younger at 30, and moved to Ipswich for £2m in 2008 but is available on a free after rejecting the offer of a new deal. Paul Jewell is resigned to losing him and it seems us and Leeds are after him.He scored 11 goals from midfield last year.
Who would you have?
Greening or Norris or both?

Greening is proven at Prem level, my guess is his wages will be pretty high. If he can agree personal terms I think Billy will get him. Depends on his fitness too, we know how Billy love his players to be super fit.

Norris is a very tidy player. Since his handcuff gaff he has got on with the job. 11 goals from midfield would suit us down to the ground. Wages shouldn't be a problem and we'd get him on a free.

We need both.

I think both would be excellent aquisitions. We need to find players like these two who can push us onto the next level.

Agreed, call me greedy but both would be great. They're all round midfielders who can tackle, pass, hold onto the ball, etc. All our midfielders have weaknesses (McGugan can drift out of games, Majewski is lightweight, Moussi is either great or awful, McKenna is past it and can't pass, Cohen is a jack of all trades master of none).
These two would make us very strong.
