Just posted on the tranny thread but Jurgen klopp was at the Argentina match and was sat next to higuains brother and agent nicolas. Higuain was also subbed off in the 73rd minute and klopp left in the 76th.

If he pulled this one off it would be sensational.

Why would Klopp need to go watch Higuain in a game rather than watching the almost unlimited video footage available?

I think Klopp is on holiday in America and decided to go watch the game.
Maybe this is Klopp's way of psyching out Wenger and the Gооners.
Could you imagine the meltdown on the Gооners board if Higuain signed for Liverpool and Vardy turned them down?

Do we really want an aging striker, with little pace and no EPL experience?
I smell Morientes
Origi, Strudge, Ings and even Benteke are good enough for me!

Aging? He's 28, not exactly set for the knackers yard. And the fact he doesn't rely on pace means he still has another 4/5 years of top level football in him.
I'm pretty sure we won't be signing him, but not for the reasons you state.

Hmmm players in and around 30 don't generally do well moving to the EPL for the first time...
We arent crying out for a striker, we need an upgrade on Lallana, maybe a CM...
Defo a LB!!

He's a world class ready made player. So he won't be coming here. We will be signing more players with 'potential'
