Surprised by this, he's only 31. I'm guessing it's because injuries have crippled him?

Great player. Loyal and never wanted to leave us. Could have done with him recently.

Injuries stopped him from becoming a legend like Hyypia. One of my favourite players, like Alonso, he looked so assured on the ball.

One of my favourite players when he was fit and playing.

Had the talent to have become an iconic player for us but injuries put pay to that.
