I wanted Eto'o. He was apparently keen on us and it seemed to be very money driven. But i always wonder what a 'peak' Eto'o would have done. But then there might not have been a long term Didier Drogba at the club.

I also wonder what would have happened had Jose got his wish? In 06 he asked Roman for Eto'o and Roman gave him Sheva.

Chelsea may have had a lucky escape, but I quite often wonder about how Robinho would have turned out for Chelsea?!

Gazza, i really set my heart on getting him in 95. I thought cos of Hoddle we'd get both him and Gullit. Alas we had to settle for Ruud. Still think we got the better deal.
