The police have been dispersing any large groups of England fans even though they were peaceful, the French and Russian Ultras were then able to attack them in coordinated and planned attacks as they did not have enough numbers to defend themselves properly. All in all it sounds like the peaceful England fans have been pushed to the point of retaliating so no wonder there is trouble. Some peole have been saying they should not react but what do they expect them to do, stand there to get knocked out, stabbed or something?

And apparently there was virtually no police prescence in the stadium and only some volunteer local security. After what has alredy happened today that is a disgrace adn teh French police should be investigated as well.

What is being reported today is that the French police were dispersing any groups of England fans and were using tear gas indiscriminately. The England fans did react but what would you expect to happen.

England fans did cause trouble over past couple of nights

now they are being attacked by organized Russian ultras

not as much fun as terrorizing cafe and bar staff is it?

there are perps and victims in all of this but do not attempt to claim total innocence.
