Brown, O'shea and Gibson to go for £12m
Not enough IMO. I'd let Brown go for £4m but Gibson is surely worth more as a young centre midfielder that can bag a few goals (maybe not United quality but great for a mid table side) and O'shea is an important squad member, happy to sit on the bench and fill in any gaps that injuries make.

O'Shea off? We could do with a utility player of his ilk.... £2m?

Proof if ever there was any needed that English players are over-priced...
If someone offered me Henderson........young.....potential....1 international cap....a decent season in PL...... for 20m
OR
Wes Brown...experienced.....international caps...won major honours
and
O'Shea.......experienced.......full international caps.....won major honours
Gibson.........young.........potential........full international caps.........won major honours
for 12m?

Surely 18-20 million is more realistic valuation for the 3 players combined !!

It would be a bad move for United if they got rid of all three. You need players like O shea and Brown if you are to win titles. Players who are happy to keep on sitting on the bench, not complain and then when they are needed give you a 7/10 performance. It was the same for United in the late 90's with the likes of David May, Solskjaer etc. Good, happy to be squad players are a must in this league as team's get ruined by the big time charlie attitude of some average players.

Oshea wont go
OUr full backs atm are Evra, Rafael, Fabio and Oshea
If we sell Oshea that would leave us with just 3 natural ful backs in the whole squad and considering how injury prone the Da Silva's are, Fergie wont take that risk
