Mercedes actually put Lewis in the wrong mode before the start of the race and was down on pace from the get go and it only got worse. Nico started in the correct mode but he then changed to the mode Lewis was in mid race but was told that it was incorrect. It would have been simple for Lewis to switch back to the correct mode he was previously in. Lewis didn't know what mode to go to as he was never using it.
This is yet another classic Wolff Stich-up!
Wolff at it Again!

Lauda is starting to be an annoying old fart! Lewis' engineers again changing his setup in FP3 making the car a bit different to drive. This issue must be investigated, but now that Lauda is in Wolff's books there goes the last hope of decency!

Rosberg just stated he had no issues with his car, another piece in the puzzle. Clearly Wolff is talking BS!

We can now confirm that this is the same rubbish mode that Lewis was in during qualifying! It seems Lewis was overcompensating for this rubbish mode, hence his crash!

I got this peach of a post from autosport by 'ensign14'
"So, let's sum up Switchgate.
Hamilton had a problem. Rosberg had a problem. Rosberg was clever enough to sort it out, Hamilton wasn't.
No, hang on, Rosberg's problem was not the same as Hamilton's. It was easier for Rosberg to sort out.
No, hang on, Rosberg's problem was self-inflicted. Hamilton's wasn't. So Mercedes couldn't tell Hamilton what to do. However Mercedes could tell Rosberg that he had done something wrong so he could undo it.
And Hamilton's problem was all race.
At every stage it has become more and more that Hamilton was innocent and Mercedes screwed him yet again. How long is it going to be before we find that Mercedes effed up his set-up before qualifying or that Hamilton's problem started before Q1 rather than before the race?
Pretty much every race Rosberg has won this season, it has been because Hamilton has had problems not of his own making. The two races where Hamilton did not have problems, he dismantled Rosberg in a way that was frankly embarrassing. "

Have you a garden?
If you have a garden you must have a spade.
If you have a spade hit yourself over the head with it.
Then we'll have peace.
F ek off.

My dear friend Irish, I thought for once you were going to be giving me good gardening advice, until the spade on my head stuff. I am struggling with some weeds here, none of which I can smoke!

I did find Lauda's comments stupid to be honest. It was clear Nico did not have a problem.
The driver should drive the car unaided but that was not a car problem, it was a computer problem
