We just played 3 sides who parked the bus.
As later rounds come up we're not going to face Slovakians, Welsh, and Russian sides who put 1,238,472 players behind the ball and refuse to attack.
We've controlled all 3 matches and were the better side by a distance, but with arguably at least a 1/3 of the spots debateable on who should start, have we actually learned anything over the last couple of weeks? I don't think so.
I do like that we pass well when not being pressed
I'd go with
------------------------Hart (100%)
Clyne(70%)-Cahill(100%)-Smalling(100%)-Rose(100%)
---------------------Dier(100%) - I had doubts but he's not fooked up
---------Lallana (70%)---Hendo (70%)
----------------------Alli (80%) Sterling has been pants but this is his position
---------------Vardy------Studge............Kane has been pants. Sub.
I don't see a point to Rooney in midfield and he's not better than the other 4 choices. He was a ludicrous number of ways of redefining awful today.
Can we really judge?

Lallana is a 45 minute player, always plays well first half, then goes missing second half. England need 90 minute players.

Whereas Kane hasn't even been a 10 minute player eh Sandy.

Annoyed me last night, the substitutions seemed so off. Vardy was having nothing getting onto Henderson's horrendous crossing so if you're going to play that tactic, Kane is a better foil with Sturridge, Vardy is for balls over the top (I think we played one).
Bertrand was really poor last night and Clyne faded in the second half given his efforts in the first, would have been nice to throw Walker at the Slovakians for extra pace (not that Clyne did much wrong). Rose was poor attacking-wise vs Wales. we lacked any width to break Solvakia down, surely Sterling could have provided some width.
One of Alli or Rooney - both are attacking players and are looking for the same type of space/ball, you just end up having two of the same.
I like Dier but when you're reduced to 35 yard shots from your defensive midfielder, things aren't going to plan.

Best striker The only decent striker England have got is Rashford, Sturridge and Vardy are close then Kane and Rooney,
It was quite amazing to see Rooney play so deep. Rooney played 40yds further up the pitch consistently under LVG then he has for Hodgson this tournament. Even when playing midfield role in fa cup final he played near 30-40yds out from goal.
For England he is playing next to Chris Smalling.
My England side would do better then this current England 11 Roy uses.Yes I think Alli is overated but he will get up and down the pitch and can track back.
...............Forster
Walker...Smalling...Cahill...Bertrand
..............Carrick.....................
.......Lingard......Alli........Rooney
...........Rashford......Vardy

You haven't actually given any reasons at all. You've just given your overall opinion (crap at this level) and that you believe him to be over-rated against an undefined benchmark. Albeit one in which nobody seems to rate him.
I'm guessing you either didn't understand the question or don't actually know why you don't rate him.

Jordan Henderson is one of the reasons why Liverpool, a favourite club of mine from way back in the 70s and 80s, have fallen from being a top four club to top eight. Does he have the quality of a Steven Gerrard or a Steve McMahon? I don't think so. I don't think he has the quality of play to help drive Liverpool to the top. I think he is lightweight, and any potential Liverpool saw in him while at Sunderland has not, in my opinion, been realised. I don't think he is captain material either. At international level he hasn't done enough to keep a place in the England team. He doesn't stand out in a crowd. He just isn't good enough.

my answer is yes we can judge, and judge harshly.
We've seen a manager stumble about not knowing what formation is best, what team to pick, no system of play, no decent set piece play...
the reason wales won the group is they had organisation and a system and beat to fairly useless sides.... england are a shambles
the squad pick is either half fit or unbalanced... dier injury or cards = nightmare, CB injury = nightmare... no width picked.. rashford there but not there.
Its a complete joke.

Really, TKT? That's one interpretation, I suppose. The Russians were dire, but they attacked and scored, against you the Welsh played their poorest game, despite help from Hart. Last night, for the full ninety minutes, especially towards the end of the game, I could well see the Slovaks slotting in a goal - completely undeserved I might add - I just couldn't see England scoring, despite Daniel running his legs off.

"I can't understand what it is opposition fans don't like about Henderson"
His delivery is on a par with John Christie of 10 Rillington Place!

I can't understand what it is opposition fans don't like about Henderson. He's fairly quick, presses well, excellent passer long and short, box to box, breaks up play, wins balls in the air and barely loses the ball. Ok he isn't going to score loads of goals but there are other players for that. Just can't understand what it is.

Henderson is one of those players who is a Jack of All Trades, but master of none.
His first half was very poor and like Wilshere he looked out of touch having missed a lot of games this season. He grew into the game and showed glimpses but was afforded a lot of time and space on the ball as their defence sat back, but his delivery into the box was poor....but he is not alone in that. Not sure how many crosses and corners have come in in 3 games but there must be only about half a dozen good ones from 4 different fullbacks and so far we have had Rooney, Kane, Henderson, Bertrand taking corners.....they should all be left to Dier who has a 100% record
I think what most people think when they see Henderson is that he is nothing special. A lot will think that if they had the fitness and trained every day then they could do most of what Henderson does.
You do need grafters in a team and Henderson does get in some good areas, but much like the majority of the team so far he has shown a few glimpses but wasted a lot of good opportunities.

his player rating said otherwise. some already rate/slate him before the match even starts.
Jordan Henderson
Another selection headache for Hodgson. Played some superb defence-splitting passes, particularly for Vardy’s early chance. Also a major goal threat with two shots blocked. 8
