The VR thread below got me thinking, or rather Digby's comment about the Sims did...........If you were given the option to continuously live the life of any video game character, past or present, who would you choose and why?
I still can't decide mine....over to you.
If you could choose....

Hmm fallout is pretty meh imo. Looking forward to Horizon: Zero Dawn though. It looks like a much better post-post-apocalyptic experience.

There's a Star Trek VR game coming which was announced at E3 where you are the captain of your own ship.
The inner trek geek in me is very happy with that news.

Fallout is also a post apocalyptic game that has crafting, an open world, a new protagonist and it has the VATS system. Not sure how you could miss the obvious resemblances.

erm you mean the 3rd person action game that lightly contains a few crafting things and revolves around hunting mechanical animals in a modern take on caveman with some modern sheet? And a scanning app that acts nothing like VATs?
So no saw 0 similarities between it and Fallout

I'd be a murloc in WoW.

You missed my other points. And there is an evolved VATS system in place. It's not my fault that you're in denial. Fallout and Horizon can be compared. It's not as if I'm comparing a shooter with a sportsgame. Use your brain.
- post apocalyptic
- Improved VATS system
- crafting
- dialogue wheel
- new protagonist
- open world
- loot junk to craft

Ah, that low level quest where others hunt those murlocs near the beach for that questitem to drop. Good memories (as a hunter) lol
