Some sensitive people here today. I merely suggested that if Scotland wants to be dictated by Brussels rather than Westminster - let them go for it

Time for the 2nd once in a generation referendum.

I wonder how many English people voted Out to try and engineer this? I don't think theres much doubt what the result will be this time.

Scotland have made it clear that they wish to remain a part of the EU,

northern Ireland are not happy and are saying they want to remain,

the Irish republic are saying this opens up major problems with the border between an EU country and a non EU country,

"Took our country back" and then tore it to shreds,

Well done Cameron, the prime minister who destroyed the United Kingdom,

Businesses are already "looking forward to being free of the burden of the many 'restrictions' on employment laws imposed by the EU" not bad going for one night.

I am relishing the events of the next few months, a hornets nest has been kicked over.

Scotland have been on their way out for years. This provides the perfect excuse most of the country are looking for - if it all goes wrong, they'll blame Cameron and England of course for tearing the UK apart. They're already at it now

I just don't see it happening. The people in Scotland were given a choice -- UK rule or Scotland rule. They chose UK rule. It's irrelevant that Scotland voted to stay in the EU, because Scotland also voted to stay in the UK, and the UK voted to leave the EU.

Nothing has changed. People who voted for UK rule aren't going to suddenly change their minds because UK rule has been applied. This is what they voted for!

It was England north of London who voted for Leave. If the cockneys thing they could manage on their own the just look at the massive disproportionate hits on the banks which rubbish the claims of London being the financial capital of Europe. Without their financial clout they are nothing.

I asked the same question this morning.

The problem is people like Sturgeon and Boris Johnson are using these votes to further their own political careers.

Scotland had a choice and whether we agree with it or not we are stuck with the decision.

Honestly, from reading this site and social media you would think 100% of Scotland voted remain, 100% of England voted leave and Wales and NI don't exist.
