Carlo has to be in the running for best manager. He achieved greatness at milan then the double in his first year at chelsea. I also think he would have got chelsea the CL they crave if it were not for a certain power crazy owner.
as for wenger , gud manager not a great.

Why is "Alex Ferguson obviously the best manager in the world" ????? in England YES you could say that...maybe! BUT in the WORLD...quite clearly no as he has only won 2 champions league in a whopping 25 years at one of the worlds richest clubs

First, and only, English manager to win the post-war double.
First Englishman to manage the first English side to win a European trophy.
First Englishman to manage the first English side to win 2 European trophies.
Thinking about it you're right; not only is Wenger not good enough to lace Bill Nicholson's boots he's not good enough to even share the same planet as Bill Nicholson.

I presume this is a list for mere mortals?
Hence the exception of Brian Clough - he would have some strong words about Wenger being #1 on your list. Something to do with league titles and European cups.
Bob Paisely and Bill Shankly ommitted whilst Benitez and Cruyff make the list?
Must try harder. D-
