It's rumoured we've agreed a fee of £16 million with Stoke and he'll sign this week!

What does everyone think?
It was estimated that Peace would be able to claim compensation of around £15 million if he went on a free, so may be £16 million is an OK deal provided the structure of the deal isn't in the same ball park as Spurs' 5 pence instalments.

Decent fee for WBA. Think he's nothing but trouble.

How much did you turn down from Spurs when they were trying for him?
£16m seems cheap to be honest.

Nobody truly knows how much Spurs offered. I believe they offered more than that but our Chairman stated that he wasn't happy with the structure of the payments. It was rumoured that Spurs were only willing to pay £5 million up front.
You've also got to take into account that we've benefited from having a top striker for an extra 12 months who is only on £15,000 a week. A replacement would have demand 3 times that amount at least.

Bye bye Saido, you burned your bridges last summer. Good luck, but you won't be missed.

Turned down £27m, kept him for another six months, paid him £60k a week, hardly played him.
Pulis will now invest that £16m in protein milk shakes to bulk up those in his squad who cannot press 500kg.

Who offered us £27 million and, as I stated above, he was on £15k a week.
You're talking out of your 'arris!

Uncle Knucklehead isn't taken seriously even by Wolves fans anymore.
