England 1 v 2 Iceland

Well that was amusing, very amusing in fact

All joking aside, what an embarrassment for a nation the size of England. They have been very unconvincing the whole tournament and all we kept hearing was someone was on the end of a doing. Well I'm sorry to say, the only team on the end of a doing were the Headhunters off the park.

Listen, in Scotland we can hardly laugh at anyone but there is a massive reason for us laughing at England, the commentators and pundits. Last night we saw everything we come to expect from them, bravado, arrogance, stupidity and downright awful analysis.

Glenn Hoddle stated that Iceland were stuck in the 80s because they scored from a long throw in. That's strange, when Rory Delap done it for Stoke it was hailed as a new weapon.

The host of the ITV programme during the half time break asked if Joe Hart should be dropped for the quarter final.... I'm sorry, you are losing 2-1 to Iceland and in no position to discuss the next round you pillock.

The only guy I thought ended with a bit of credibility after last night was Alan Shearer, I thought he summed up everything from Hodgson to Sterling, to Kane to the EPL and it's so called status perfectly. OVER-HYPED

One final point, can anyone explain to me why Joe Hart continues to be in goal for England? How many clangers is that now in an England jersey?

Gareth Southgate next, could it get any worse?

Rashford should also not have gone to France and it shows how little football knowledge people have when they think he should play ahead of the likes of Sturridge.

Sturridge:

Played 25
Scored 13

Rashford

Played 11
Scored 5

In terms of goals to games there's not much between them and Rashford also has the bonus of not being made of chocolate

What a bunch of bitter Scottish to$$ers,so full of hatred and bile you'd rather be ruled by faceless, unelected muppets in Brussels than elected politicians in London!
Go back to wearing skirts you big,Ginger nancies and eating sheep's knackers wrapped in a bladder, maybe if you used that as a football instead you might qualify for more than one tournament every hundred years!
The sooner we separate from you spongers and build back Hadrian's Wall the better for me!

The England manager has done the correct thing and resigned. However, his decision to start the same tired old strikers, Kane and Sterling, even though they had been underperforming, definitely contributed to this defeat. If Vardy and Rashford had started, things might have been different. Joe Hart is a class guy, but is too unpredictable. Man. City should be concerned.

Congratulations Iceland!
