On the times I've seen him play, he looks the real deal. It matters not a jot about how much or how little he cost, or which clubs he comes from and how much we've spent on players from that club; full marks to FSG, again, for backing our manager. It's their money. Jurgen wanted him, he got him, let's see what he gets out of him.

My sole concern? is it me, or is there an attitude issue waiting to surface?

Is it an inflated fee or inspired business.

Does he have an inflated ego to match, some issues last season point to that.

But on his day a cracking player

You paid too much but he's a very good player on his day

Think we should re-name Southampton Melwood south..

Sir Robert, as long as he gets us back to Anfield South, and picks up a couple of trophys on the way, I will be happy.

£34m rising to £36m so becoming more than we spend on the donkey Carroll.

At least put some effort in. Southamptonpool is a poor effort. Something like scousehampton would have been much more clever.
