Scholes will be interviewed on some golf course no doubt by SKY news.

By all accounts Butt is doing a good job with the young lads, he'll be around a while yet.

Good luck to Giggs whatever he decides to do, it's a sad day to see a huge legend leaving.

Maybe he'll be back one day if he succeeds in management, would be nice.

Favourite player growing up, still remember getting a full kit when I was a kid for Xmas and it being addressed "from Giggsy" and genuinely believed it for years. Turned out to be my Uncle

I'm 30, I literally don't remember a time when Ryan Giggs wasn't involved with Manchester United

He's one of the things that attracted me to the club in first place, it's the right call though, if he wants to be a manger or "head coach" then United certainly isn't the place to cut your teeth.

The comparisons to Pep did my head in, like it worked at Barca so it can work anywhere, just forget the fact that Pep, despite making some big calls initally, still had Puyol, Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Eto'o and Henry to work with.

If Mourinho can take injury prone Jones out the club then we would be better off. Giggs did well to last that long.

Won't happen as apparently Mourinho has spoken to him about his place in the squad, plus he is classed as "Home-Grown" and you need a minimum of 8 in your Premier League squad.

He'll be back at the club in the future, no doubts about that.

Awww at a least he'll have plenty of time to spend with his family now. Or the wives/partners of his family members.
