Glenn Hoddle

Is it just me that doesn't get England's obsession with Hoddle?

A very overrated coach in my opinion (and also one who hasn't coached in a decade) yet several people regard him as a managerial genius and as a prime contender for the England job.

What is it about his record that's so great because I really don't see anything magnificent?

I'd gladly have him back as interim for a few friendlies to see if he still has it.
