I am not convinced that signing Pogba if we aren't his first choice is the correct thing to do. Yes he is a stop class player, but so was Di Maria and we all saw there what happened there. He never really wanted to be at United and there same could happen with Pogba. £100m is a lot to spend when you consider that.

Its funny that one of the biggest proponents of signing Pogba on here was the loudest voices saying that we should sell Di Mari as we weren't his first choice. I guess that wind changed.

If we sign Pogba, 2 or 3 years down the line he'll be pushing for a move to Real or Barca, for far less than we shell out for him.

Spend that 100m on two world class CMs...Kante and Kroos for example would probably cost 30m and 50m respectively

Pogba alone won't turn our midfield into a world class one, 2 top CMs would

Easily france's poorest performing midfielder this tournament against average sides. matuidi has massively outshined him. Dont get it at all...but he did score a header.

Can see some point in Kante but Kroos is not the answer. Another one dimensional player who lacks pace,we have been down that road far too often.
Pogba is going to get even better and is already twice the player Kroos is,open your eyes ffs.
