I’m one of Torres’s biggest fans and I wish he improves but from what I have seen from him so far I can’t see that happening.

I think we should give him until November and at that time if he is not showing any signs of improvement we need to get Drogba back as our main forward. Drogba has still got a lot to offer us.

If you watch the match threads all you see are negative comments about Anelka and that is whether he is on the pitch or not.

To be honest from day 1 I always thought Torres would flop at Chelsea. I remember writing an article when your initial bid for Torres was rejected claiming it was a publicity stunt by Roman to make people see that he still has money to spend. Never in a million years did I actually think the deal would happen never mind you would cough up £50M for him. I just thought that with the 4-3-3 Chelsea played you would never be able to fit Drogba and Torres into the same team which now seems to be the case.

But I never anticipated he would be this bad for you and I actually thought that this season with Drogba's role in the team being more of a squad member that Torres could shine as the main man. But apart from his performance against Stoke (it was good but nothing special, I think people were just excited that he was looking lively again) he has been a huge let down.

The question is, why is this so? I just don't understand it. I really don't believe he has lost it, that he has past his best, that he doesn't have the right team mates. I mean he has been g@sh for Spain, too, so that can't be an excuse. Is he just disinterested in playing football? Does he have personal problems? It wasn't even a year ago that Torres put in one of the best individual performances of the 10/11 season against Chelsea and that came when he wasn't having the best of times with Liverpool. So it isn't as if he still does not have the class. I just wonder if he is bothered using it anymore.

One thing for sure is that I am not going to make the same mistake for the 3rd week running and make him my fantasy premier league captain again

You have asked a lot of questions, but all I can say is that our fans, players and manager are still fully behind him and are backing him to find his form.

He was a fantastic striker, but has been no where near his best for the last 2 years. We made a stupid bid of 50m for him when the money could have been well spent on our long term target Aguero.
