To be fair, LVG couldn't have anticipated that so many of our players would end up having extended holidays by being crap at the Euros...Jose is making these decisions with the benefit of hindsight rather than foresight, which always helps.

Looking forward to more footy though! There will finally be a point to my MUTV subscription come preseason.

I don't like that a Manchester derby will be played pre-season, a bit like the Liverpool game in Miami a couple of years ago, just doesn't sit right.

The Premier League are going to start taking league games out there on a regular basis soon aren't they?...'s

What for preseason or league games?
No chance for league games, the schedule is to busy as it is without the added hassle of long distance travel, plus the fans would be livid.

League. It was mooted a few years ago then it all went quiet, Richard Scudamore reckons it will happen at some point, if it's on his watch or no is another matter.

No idea why LVG was happy in cutting back the pre season games.

It did not make any sense what so ever.

Jose cut two weeks off his pre season last season, look where that got him.
