Guardiola first training session

http://www.mancity.com/news/first-team/2016/07/05/pep-guardiola-first-day-of-training-with-city-squad-video/1467736896158

It's only a snippet and due to the camera angle, looks fairly chaotic but I found this fascinating. The bit for me that really stuck out was the little interaction with Clichy when they were walking off the pitch - it's a very different relationship he is building with the players to Pellegrini already, coupled with him being actively involved. That and Yaya seemed to run more in this than in the whole of last season...

It may take a while for us to really see the benefits, but watching him at work this season is going to be so interesting. It's the first time in a while that for us I'm more interested in the manager than particular players.

Knows Guardiola from La Masia.

Yeah I heard Arsenal wanted to keep him in a coaching capacity too, he's already done his badges.

Surely Bony and Yaya are in the departure lounge? Everton would seem a good fit for Bony and Inter want Yaya so City should cash in while there is some value. As has been said many times, they no longer fit the way City will play. Yaya had some great seasons, but sadly for Bony it just seemed a step too far.

I think Kolarov has had his tea leaves read too. Interesting that in all the chatter about centre backs we aren't linked to any full backs - so far.

It's troubling but let's not get carried away.

I'm sure they know what we do.

Or do they?🤔
