Yes I can bring up using a poor user on a football forum for a fact as silly while at the same time using multiple media sources to debate a point. Are you aware of the article currently being discussed a couple articles above? It's about a well respected journalist known for having great inside information on transfers stating that United have had a €120m big agreed in principle. I guess that's just as reliable as SLM though right?

You are burbling now 1982.
I have never once said SLM is reliable either, so stop making crap up.

If he wasn't reliable then why did you use his comment as a point to debate with?

Why do you keep using media sources as facts when they are not?
I can beat you at this all night because once again you have let your dislike of me get the better of you.

"where do you draw the line with what you are prepared to pay?”
this was said in reference to tevez £250k wage demand from westham
the same rule should apply for us. it should never be a whatever it takes.
pjanic and gundogan combined price is about half the reported £100 mil

Di marzio or whatever he is called now reports something that has been reported for days from otters sources, including the Guardian and Daily star.
Then we will get the usual clowns here jizzing over someone who tweets transfer speculation and gets a few right.
Just love the way some on here take it as gospel if it comes from certain sources. They all make stuff up, they all get things wrong. Pinch of salt is needed.

Anyway.... None of us are in control of UTD's finances or Juvé's valuation. No point losing sleep over other people's money.

Till they go and increase ticket prices.
Anyways, I believe there has always been a certain jealousy of the likes of Real from our fans or maybe recent failures have made many reaccess their football morals. I just feel we are just bastardizing what I loved about the club. I cannot criticize Real for doing these type of moves and then want my club to do it. Considering what we saw with Leicester, I thought the romance of a well trained, wisely put together team would be something to enjoy again. I would prefer we win a title every decade like leicester than win it by buying 100 million players.
Even when I played video games, I did not even want to win the league the first season... I guess I am getting old and sentimental.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's all well and good saying such things... It has only been 3 summers since we were champions.
Ask a Liverpool fan if they would prefer going another 20+ years without a title. but having a sense of footballing morals.... Or if they would prefer to see the huge swathes of cash landing in their coffers spent on world class talent.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They tried spending their way and failed, when they were still the big boys. In the league as it is right now, spending assures nothing. Like I pointed out Leicester won this league with players like Kante (who probably would serve us better at a lower price too).
For every Chelsea, Man city here there are lots of Leeds, Aston Villa, Newcastle that point to it not being an immediate solution. Spending well is always going to be the common denominator for a good team. There is no way a player who may not even be the best player on Juve let alone the Italian league is worth 100 million. A player man of you all argued we were justified in letting go by the way

Hate when people don't understand the differences between words like value, cost, price, fee, worth ect.
Get a dictionary and check what your saying. Pogba is not worth £100m. But that for sure is what he'll cost.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You might want to take your own advice pal.
"Worth" is basically an abstract idea.
1.
good or important enough to justify (what is specified):
advice worth taking; a place worth visiting.
2.
having a value of, or equal in value to, as in money:
This vase is worth 12 dollars.
3.
having property to the value or amount of:
They are worth millions.
We are clearly discussing definition 2 and there is no person other than the buyer who can determine that figure, as a football player is not an easily quantifiable "item".
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Read what you just copy pasted. Then apply it to my post and you will see that Paul Pogba, by your very definition(s), is not "worth" £100m.

Mik and Pogba would give us the best midfield in the PL, if not Europe. We're on our way to Big Times again. These are phackts.

Please elaborate.
If UTD offer £100m and Juve accept £100m, then he has a value of £100m.
This isn't rocket science.
