Has anyone else noticed that France have played only two of their games in Paris, (soon to be three I know)?
This means that more of their games have been played all over the country than in Paris, at Marseille, Lyon (twice) and Lille Metropole.
When England hosted Euro '96 England played at only one venue and there are no prizes for guessing where!

I'm moaning because if England were to host it again any time in the next 100 years, and assuming they won their group (there's a laugh), they would still play 100% at Wembley.

If England had finished second in their group in Euro 96, their quarter would have been at Anfield and their semi at Old Trafford. All four seeded teams played all three group games at the one stadium - Wembley for England, Road for Spain, Old Trafford for Germany and Hillsborough for Denmark. Italia 90 had a similar set-up: Italy played at Rome until the 3/4 play-off.

they would not let me go as the tickets too expensive and I was too young
they took me to the England-Cameroon game tho
