Million Pound Goal

I signed up with Bet Victor before the Euros as I was interested in their million pound goal challenge.

Simply through a series of qualifying bets you get the chance to earn predictions for tonight's match.

All you need to do is predict who will score the first goal and in what minute it is scored. That covers all of ET up until the penalty kicks.

Doesn't sound too difficult but clearly it is still a lottery. I have earned 8 picks for the game tonight.

The problem is I think both teams are matched quite well. I think I would have preferred an overwhelming favourite to cut down the choices.

I have looked at all Euro finals since inception of the competition to see if I can spot a pattern. Usually the first goal either comes in the time frame of 30 to 40 minutes approx and the 50 to 60 mark. Couple of games had early goals and one had a goal in the 78th minute.

I think I have to cover the penalties. Problem is I don't know who will go first so need to cover both teams. France haven't went to penalties yet so that makes it trickier although Griezman seems to be the main taker.

Gives a wee bit of added interest tonight.

That was close. In the 45th min, I has the guy who made the cross, the og and the forward who missed the header. I reckon greizman for 1st pen was 20k min

Did you not also have an OG in the 14th minute of EU.. when Portugal had a corner and it ended up being scrambled away from near the line?

You must have had good odds on Portugal pre-tournament?

24th min OG.

My wife is annoyed she didn't join in. I reckon with 50 predictions as opposed to the 24 I would have been able to cover the subs in ET better.

I bet BTG like me was convinced of Griezmann first pen, as the ET progressed.

I'm glad i did it, would have liked a few more on ja606 to have given it a go. If we had covered zones, we would have stood a decent chance.

"As nobody chose Eder in the 109th minute, we have conducted a countback to determine the closest prediction. Early indications suggest that there is 1 winner of the #MillionPoundGoal. The result is still unofficial and we will finalise it on Monday.

Thanks to all our customers for participating!"
