Angela Eagle

What a dislikeable woman. Watched her appearance on question time and she was terrible.

With people like her and Theresa May in politics I can see why so many people are disillusioned with the country we live in.

For the sake of British politics I hope Corbyn stays in power.

Some seriously ignorant comments on this thread...

You don't ever vote for a party leader. Nobody (unless you live in Witney) has ever voted for David Cameron.

You vote for your party and the party appoints the party leader. It's not undemocratic it's how it works.

The lack of comprehension of British politics in this country is utterly ridiculous and sometimes I wonder whether it's actually a good thing that we lived in a democracy.

Only thing stupider than a British politician is a British voter.

172 Labour members kung fu....eighty per cent know corbyn is nice but dim.

Yet their constituents don't think that.

Angela Eagles constituents are even trying to get her deselected because of her treachery.

When Corbyn wins the Labour election I hope people will have the good grace to treat Corbyn fairly as the elected leader.

We may as will have another EU ref if this persists, the MP's should either accept the will of the people or feck off.

The merseyside militant left are after Angela now right enough, and far left Momentum have replaced the eighties Militant tendency.
Lovely people attacking her office, threatening her and staff.

The labour mp's against corbyn received votes from people, so when they turn on him, such as Watson, they have democracy on board.

I believe corbyn should split, along with his far left momentum mob, set up a new party, and let Labour regroup.

The majority of Labour members are far left these days so it is probably the blairiites that need to splinter off. Either way it's gonna be messy.

Yes, I should have simply said Labour wil split.

It is fair enough far left folk backing corbyn, but why not stand as Momentum,or Militant, rather than using labour as a Trojan Horse?
The british people are mostly in the centre,or centre right as we see from brexit, and especially among working class brits now.

By all means corbyn and his far left fan club can be sinn fein and hamas prejudiced, anti-nuclear, nationalising seventies union lackies, sitting down with isis, but do it on your own outside Labour.
Seek a mandate, rather than infiltrate.

Breaking news from France, Nice, says thirty dead as truck rams holiday crowds, and possible gunfire used too in police confrontation.

The labour party is a party defined by its members and not its politicians. It's very far from an infiltration, it's a return to an older labour. The fact the Trade Unions are supporting this direction means it's the red tories that are out of step.
