17 year old Marcus Edwards has signed his first Pro contract with us, a 2 year initial contract was signed yesterday after he was given assurances from the club about game time.
He will be given a squad number for the coming season plus game time guaranteed.
Edwards, described as Messi with hair, is an exciting prospect and has always played well in advance of his years.
Possibly the most talented player on the ball since the likes of Hoddle, Gascoigne & Ginola, if he makes the leap into first team contention then we could have a sensational player for years to come.

Needs to shadow Eriksen. I think He's the only player in our team that shares similar qualities to Marcus.

I said he is possibly the most talented player on the ball, since Hoddle, Gascoigne & Ginola.
We haven't had too many of those in the past 20 odd years. He was compared to Messi in terms of how alike the were at 12 years of age,
