Deal done for Chris Burke on a bosman and got to say I'm pleased with that bit of business. We all knew Seb would be off and, from the few times I've seen him play, Burke looks like a solid replacement - if only at Championship level.
At 27, we've got a good three years of peak ability to come so no complaints there either.
I think Eck is the right man to manage a tight budget and pull out a few surprises, I just hope the overhaul that is likely to take place can also incorporate a different playing approach.
Cardiff fans, any info re Burke would be welcome

Agree good signing was hoping we got him when I heard Cardiff had let him go. We are in desperate need of a creative winger instead of the ones we've had the past few seasons who's first thought was to pass it back to the full back. I don't think he has that much pace though so hopefully we give Redmond a chance or get a quick winger in.

I am not happy with the fact he left, obviously no club loyalty and I hope he has a bad season! But being fair he is a great signing for you guys and will probably do a good job for you. Unlucky losing Seb though, I have always highly rated him as a player!

Could be good signing though.time will tell. Have too bring youngsters on this season Mutch, redmond, Aswante. etc.
