I've been reading comparisons between these two players but in my opinion, i don't think N'jie and N'Koudou are very similar players at all.
they both have pace but id say N'Koudou plays more like Sterling (when he was decent for liverpool) and is far better technically than N'jie. He can playa cross the front 3 as he's 2 footed whereas i think N'jie is a CF. He can play best off the last defender and use his pace to get through on goal, he was badly misused on the wings last season , i think he'd be better is a front 2 with Kane or Janssen coming off the bench. this is where he played with Lyon with laccazette and was pretty effective
I think theres a way we could keep both but personally i prefer Son as the 3rd striker option for this season and think we should loan N'jie out in the premier league to someone like Swansea who play decent football to get him some PL minutes

From the little I have seen of N'koudou not sure he offers much more than Townsend.
Never been a fan of Njie from watching his youtube clips(and yes they do say a lot!). N'koudou seems similar to Njie but with a bit more trickery to his game.
Personally think its about time we added 1 or 2 seasoned performers to the team rather than continuously chasing young and inexperienced youngsters.

Njie should be the 3rd Striker if we aren't going to buy or promote a youth player
N'koudou if used properly could be effective. That means getting the ball forward as soon as possible instead of taking to many passes in midfield. our CMs can be guilty of this as none of them are really good mid-range passers.
Bentaleb is the only pseudo mid-range passer we have in the squad and that worries me a little.

By all accounts and I've read up a bit about it purely because I am annoyed about us making no effort to close the gap to the teams above us. middlesboro are making better signings. Our team is great but only wimmer,chadli or davies can we rely on off the bench. We need something for the champions league at least make an effort.
Nkodou is two footed can play on either wing (usual on the left though) and is quite direct. Marseille fans are unhappy to lose him.
Njie plays on the right has bundles of pace. Lyon fans were laughing at Njie and didn't worry about losing him.
Neither can cross or have a good shot apparently it's all about running and pace.
Weirdly neither fit pochs narrow tactics where the width comes from the wingbacks.
interesting to see who goes on tour. I expect mason, Fazio and Njie to be left behind as they'll leave but it leaves us drastically short on numbers for juventus etc.

Hopefully N'Koudou has a better attitude than Townsend!

The same as all of us, not many, and he was pretty well useless in all. He is going, so shows the club think the same of him as I do. Just didn't work out.
