So learnt some interesting stuff today if you are considering buying a new 4k TV for gaming. In now a normal industry thing to try and confuse the fook out of the customers companies are calling the same thing different names.
I'm talking HDR
Now first you might ask what HDR is - well most of us have seen it on our phones. Basically it makes colours pop more and makes blacks look blacker and have more definition.
So you may not know is that there are 2 types of HDR:
1) HDR10
2) Dolby vision
So the problem if you happen to want an Xbone S it ONLY supports HDR10, and this seems to be the way the industry is leaning. Some TVS may support both, some only one - so beware!
If you are after a new 4k TV research before hand and good luck!

I was reading in my ps4 mag the other day that the PS4 pro also only supports the HDR10 sound system and not the dolby one
