C'mon people let's be positive. We have a new owner and we know we can't move forward without one so at the very least the train is moving again.
It doesn't sound like silly money heaven is coming our way but it's hard to believe a major Chinese corporation would buy Wolves without a plan to invest and get into the Premiership. So this gets my thumbs up.
Moxey leaving, new signings now a distinct probability - what's not to cheer?
Now despite the song, most Wolves fans are conditioned to believe that clouds don't actually have silver linings. In fact we assume black. So for those of us who are never happier than when we are pessimistic here is a little nugget. Fosun also own Club Med... cue the ground converted into tennis courts, Compton into a holiday complex and hey presto Club Med Wolverhampton. Gotta love it as an idea. Chinese tourists on Dudley Street asking for directions to the beach!"
Celebrate and reserve the right to moan like hell tomorrow - we are Wolves!

Bruce would probably get us promoted but would not be the kind of exciting appointment people were hoping for. I guess whether we went for him would give some indication of whether we are looking for improvement or a revolution

Rather have Kenny frankly

promotion in two year's is the sensible aim tho...
go up this season and it will be an absolute bonus. but more likely challenge in 2017-18. bruce has a good record of promotion from the championship - better than anyone else - so albeit not a really exciting move, possibly a smart one.

who is this Kenny Frankly you speak of?

id rather have kenny frankly, than kenny jackett.
kenny frankly sounds like a no nonsense exciting kind of manager who would motivate the squad to play above themselves.
kenny jackett sounds like a guy who came round to service the boiler and mentioned while he was there that he could have a look at that leaking tap for you...

bruce would be a great choice, as he would have been after micks sacking

OK, that's 24 hours nearly up so time to get back to normal and begin whingeing. No CEO, no manager and no signings.... it's miserable being a Wolves fan.
What are we thinking about Bruce's sudden departure? He couldn't be coming our way in a cunningly choregraphed move could he. Good track record of getting teams out of this League and bound to lead to lots of comparisons with Mick which will entertain us for hours.

How would Brucey feel about being interviewed by the Fat Controller again?

bruce has been on the brink of leaving hull for months now. he may have taken the leap because of wolves position but I don't think we can assume he's done this to be our next manager.
possible alternative reasons he has gone:
article from earlier in the year -

or -

of course, whatever his reason for quitting, our owners and moxey will be fully aware of his availability and his record.

Did hull win promotion?
Gave up following by that point.
