So one deal done already. Not too sure about 20 m for a player with "potential".
Left back. Press reports suggest our interest in Enrique has cooled. What do we think? If not Enrique who else? Left back definitely a priority.
Left wing. Strongly linked with Stewart Downing, who many of us seem to prefer to Ashley young anyway. Sylvan Marveaux also linked
Central defender. My choice would be Scott Dann. Solid, has pace and is a scouser.
Midfield playmaker. Suggestion is Charlie Adam. Looks like we might have to keep Aquilani. Is it just me or does anyone else think we're looking at a hell of a lot of central midfield players. Or is it better that we have different "options".
Finally a back up striker. If a lot of the above happens, not sure we really need one. We have Kuyt, who can do that job, and Henderson or Johnson can play on the right. Think Martin Kelly could be first choice right back, if he can stay injury free for once.
Opinions please

Yeah I agree with most of that, in my opinion Suarez should be played as a winger in a 4-5-1 (4-3-3) so buying a striker to challenge Carroll and Kuyt would be a must.
I'd be very happy with Enrique, Dann, Downing/Young, Adam, and a striker. Conor Wickham looks good but don't want to pay silly money.

we must sign a left back. we cant rely on aurelio as he is too injury prone and we saw at the tail end of last season how light we are in the full back areas when we had to play 2 teenagers at the emirates.
Someone for either the left or right wing has to come in as well. I'd expect this to be our big money move this summer. I have no idea who we will get but im hoping for someone top notch.
A back up striker should be next for me, especially as we are letting ngog go. As bad as he was, it leaves us very light up top if he goes.
I'd be hapy if we signed quality players in these areas. A centre half might be a shout but we have agger carra and skrtel in there as well as Kelly who I think will make a quality cb.
If we dont sign a lb, winger and striker I think we will struggle to compete at the very top

Liverpool are hoping to take advantage of the difficult task Jeffren faces of trying to earn a place in the Barcelona first team by signing the 23-year-old forward from the European champions.

Granted, they're not the most reliable of sources.

Left side midfield upmost priority and quality as well, someone we've,needed for a good few seasons. Disagree with LB don't think its priority. So we played two teenagers at Emirates, so what. Robinson was great that day, he had Walcott in his pocket and Flanegan proved over several games how good he is.
