I haven’t heard anything about anyone starting up a LCFC Predictions League for the coming season so, as I’m heading off on holiday until the 15th August, I thought I should start one just in case I miss out. Forgive this being a cut and paste of the 2015/16 post – I leave in an hour!
The rules are identical to last season and are as follows:
You predict the results of the games in the Premier League. You get 1 point for getting one team's score right. 3 points for the right result but neither team's score right. 4 points for the right result and one team's score right. 7 big points for getting a perfect prediction.
Then the Top 5 for the week receive the following
1st 25 points
2nd 15 points
3rd 10 points
4th 6 points
5th 3 points
Season long bonuses are also available by predicting the number of goals LCFC will score this season (100 points) and by picking a top scorer. The number of goals your man scores this season will be the number of bonus points you receive at the end. As from last season matches involving LCFC will score DOUBLE points.
As with last season, I will try to include a wildcard fixture every week. This will be picked at random.
Predictions need to be posted prior to kick off for each game. You have until kick off of the first games of Week 2 to submit your bonuses.
I’m hoping to get at least 10 participants from the LCFC board but if I fail to get any more than eight I’ll have to bin it.
